About

Hi — I’m Brittnie.

I picked up a camera because I wanted to remember my own kids properly, and somewhere along the way friends started asking, and then their friends did too.

What that means for you: no studio, no stiff posing, no rushing to hit a shot list. We pick a spot, we go late in the afternoon, and I mostly stay out of the way while your people be your people.

I shoot around Ames and across central Iowa, plus food, product, and interiors for small businesses and realtors who’d rather not use a phone photo.

What to expect

How a session goes

  1. 01

    We talk first

    You tell me who’s coming, what you’re hoping for, and whether anyone hates having their picture taken. Usually someone does.

  2. 02

    We go outside

    Sixty to ninety minutes, timed to the light. Bring the dog, bring snacks, bring the kid who won’t wear the outfit.

  3. 03

    You get the gallery

    A private online gallery in about two weeks, edited and ready to download, print, and send to grandma.

Where
Ames and central Iowa. Farther afield is fine, travel just gets added on.
How long
Most sessions run 60–90 minutes, timed to end at sunset.
Turnaround
About two weeks for a full private gallery. Sneak peeks sooner.
